I have written extensively on sarees, their style statements, and how to accessorise them since I have been discussing accessories and the history and significance of drapes for a very long time. But I reasoned that I should this time bring some eye-candy for all of my gorgeous women.
Right now, we’re all used to seeing Bollywood celebs and other fashion stars. There was no fashion blogger or Instagram influencer who could have given you advice on what to try with what. I recall that the harem trousers with the polka dots from Jab We Met became well-known when the movie Bobby was out.
We just cannot ignore the effect of the bolly on our lives. In the middle of all the discussion of nepotism and the disintegration of the Bollywood business. I was simply looking at the trend-setters, who make us feel like diva-like people who beg to differ that we shouldn’t follow them because of nepotism and other things.
In order to jog your memory, allow me to take you on a pictorial tour of some of the bollywood divas who never fail to wow me when it comes to sarees, especially banarasi sarees.
Rekha
The famous woman, who we associate with the treasures of Kanjeevaram sarees, is equally graceful while wearing banarasi sarees. Oh, the stunning deep orange banarasi she wore at IshaAmbani’s wedding.
Vijay Balan
The Keralite origin lady, the rekha counterpart of the current generation, adores wearing sarees and fusing them with a variety of stylish designs and blouses. But when she wore a banarasi saree in her movie Parineeta, I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen.
Malady Dixit
I’ve seen this lady gracefully dress herself in traditional banarasi sarees for any Marathi-style wedding or intimate friend’s ethnic gathering. And when she drapes, those curves just fall into place. Onscreen, she has been seen dancing while wearing Kolhapuri sarees.
Deepika
This young woman is skilled at exuding snobbery. Here is my outstanding choice for her. Check out this photo of a bride-to-be wearing a red hot banarasi saree at an event before to her wedding.
Ingrid Mirza
This Hyderabadi lady wears her saree so elegantly that it is a sight to see. I’ve seen her on TV visiting a lot of events, parties, or fashion shows while wearing exquisite Banarasi sarees shopping and carrying them with her charming grin.
My list is now complete.
These are my personal favourites, however there may be others in the bollywood industry that wear sarees effectively, such as Sridevi, HemaMalini, or even KanganaRanaut. Will be interested to hear your thoughts on the women whose saree-draping manner you still prefer to imitate.
It is reminiscent of a lively conversation about style with a friend.
omg the costumes are amazinggggg!!!
